Linda S. Raffensberger

YORK- Linda S. (Drescher) Raffensberger, 64, of West Manchester Township, passed away on Monday, May 19, 2025 at Hospice & Community Care in Mount Joy. She was the wife of James S. Raffensberger. The couple celebrated their 31st wedding anniversary on September 25, 2024.

A celebration of life service will be held at 7 pm on Wednesday, May 28, 2025 at Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd. in York, with a visitation from 6-7 p.m. Certified Celebrant Amy Favorito will be officiating at the service.

Linda was born in York on January 8, 1961, the daughter of the late Fred C. and Vivian M. (Jumper) Drescher. Linda was a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse and worked for the former Health South in York for over 15 years and then for Cancer Care Associates.

Linda was a 1978 graduate of West York Senior High School. She received her LPN degree from York County Vo-Tech and attended York College. She was a devoted wife and mother and enjoyed reading.

Along with her husband Jim, she leaves her daughter, Jenna Raffensberger; a brother, Michael S. Drescher of Macungie; nieces and nephews, Anna Drescher, Kevin Drescher, Alicia Tresselt, Kristen Glose, Zachary Meyer, Kyle Potter, and Adam Potter.
