Linda S. Kashner

YORK—Linda S. (Miller) Kashner, 77, passed away March 02, 2026 at Hospice & Community Care – Mt. Joy. She was the wife of Mervin A. Kashner to whom she was married for 56 years.

A Celebration of Life Graveside Service will be held 2PM, Saturday, March 07, 2026 at St. John’s (Sadler’s) Cemetery, 2916 Sadlers Church Rd, Stewartstown. Officiating the service will be Pastor Jen Mattheu of Praise Community Church – York. Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place, Red Lion is honored to serve the family.

Born August 20, 1948 in York, she was the daughter of the late Francis H. Miller and Thelma R. (Attig) Miller.

She was employed as a custodian with Dallastown School District for several years before her retirement. Her previous employment was in the housekeeping department of Country Meadows – York South Community.

A member of the Fire Fighters Association of York Co and Ladies Auxiliary of Goodwill Fire Company #1 – York Township, she was also a member of Christ Lutheran Church of Spry. She enjoyed traveling with her husband, visiting lighthouses on the east coast, trips to Colonial Williamsburg, Rehoboth Beach and for many years spending time with family in Potter Co.

In addition to her husband, Mrs. Kashner is survived by one son, Jason A. Kashner and his wife, Jen of Loganville; one granddaughter, Morgan B. Rineer and her husband, Brandon and one great granddaughter, Laken E. Barshinger.
