Norey was a devoted member of Yorkshire Church, where she sang in the choir from 2002 until 2026. Her faith was an important part of her life, and she regularly participated in Bible studies. She also cherished the time spent sharing morning devotionals with her husband.

Having minored in music, she remained actively involved in music throughout her life and was an exceptional soprano soloist. She was especially known for her thoughtful, handmade greeting cards, which she lovingly created and sent to family and friends for birthdays and holidays.
