L.B. (Emler) Tate

NEWBERRY TOWNSHIP- L.B. "Scotty" (Emler) Tate, 71, of Etters, died Wednesday, December 30, 2009 at Holy Spirit Hospital in Camp Hill. She was the wife of Joseph T. Tate, Jr. The couple celebrated 46 years of marriage. A Celebration of Life service will be 2 p.m. on Sunday at Beaver-Urich Funeral Home, Inc., 305 W. Front Street in Lewisberry. Certified Celebrant Betty Frey will be officiating at the service. A visitation will be from 1-2 p.m. at the funeral home. Mrs. Tate was born in Dunckinsville, Blair County on January 28, 1938, a daughter of the late Mary Jane (Gill) Nicenomger and step daughter of the late Clarence C. Nicenomger, Sr. She was a homemaker and worked in floral design. Mrs. Tate leaves a son, Bo Wiggins of Easton, MD; a daughter, Patricia "Treasa" Bramble and her husband Butch of Elk Ridge, MD; three grandchildren; four great grandchildren, a brother, Clarence Nicenomger, Jr. of Newery, PA; and a sister, Gina Marsiglia of Sparks, NV.
