Laszlo Bathory, Sr.

DOVER – Laszlo Bathory, Sr., 63, passed away June 22, 2012 at his home. He was the husband of Kathy S. (Merritt) Bathory to whom he was married for 14 years. A celebration of life tribute service will be held at 7:00 PM Thursday, June 28, 2012 at Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Road, York. A viewing will be held from 5-7:00 PM Thursday at the Funeral Chapel. Born June 18, 1949 in Dorog, Hungary; a son of the late Geza Bathory and Rozsa Janosi, he was an owner/operator truck driver for Wells Bros. and had also worked for Jack Giambalvo Motor Co. Laszlo enjoyed boating, deep sea fishing, and had a passion for foreign automobiles. In addition to his wife, Mr. Bathory is survived by a son, Laszlo Bathory, Jr. and wife Crystal of Felton; six daughters, Andrea K. Bathory of Dover, Kathy and Susie Bathory both of Hungary, Annie Bathory of Florida, Heather and husband Casey Collins of Dallastown, and Kelly Miller of Dover; six grandchildren, Maddie, Angel, James, Dakota, Liam, and Norbert; and a brother, Geza Bathory of Hungary. He was preceded in death by a grandson, Brent Bathory.
