Larry Dean Swartz, Sr.

YORK- Larry Dean Swartz, Sr., 89, passed away Wednesday, July 9, 2025 at Spring Creek Rehabilitation and Health Care Center. He is the Loving husband of Sylvia A. (Lind) Swartz.

A Celebration of Life will be held 10:00 AM on Tuesday, July 15, 2025 at Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place, Red Lion. Prior to the service a viewing will be held from 9:00 AM -10:00 AM at the Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Susquehanna Memorial Gardens.

Larry was born on June 4, 1936 in Glen Rock, PA; a son of the late Stewart and Mary (Lentz) Swartz. Larrys favorite hobby was his work, he took pride in driving trucks for various companies. In his free time, you could find Larry spending time with his family and his beloved dogs.

Larry is survived by his son Dean Swartz Jr.; daughters, Cindy Roth and Penny Maddox; five grandchildren Colby Roth, Chad Pantelich, Darren Pantelich, Danielle Swartz, and Heather Swartz; a brother Dale Swartz; and a sister Lana Hughes. He is preceded in death by a brother, Glen Swartz; and a sister, Greta Street.
