NEWBERRY TOWNSHIP- Kilmore "John" Bell, Jr. 63, of Dover, passed away after a lengthy illness on Thursday, December 3, 2009 at Holy Spirit Hospital in Camp Hill. He was the husband of Gloria M. (Ehrhart) Bell. The couple celebrated their 36th Wedding Anniversary on April 22nd. A Celebration of Life service will be Tuesday, December 8, 2009 at 11 a.m. at Parkville Church of the Living God, 1733 York Rd. in Dover. The Reverend K. David Haring will be officiating at the service. Viewings will be from 6-8 p.m. on Monday at Beaver- Urich Funeral Home, Inc., 305 W. Front St. in Lewisberry and 10:30-11 a.m. on Tuesday at the church. Burial will be in Rolling Green Cemetery in Camp Hill Mr. Bell was born in Carlisle on July 14, 1946, a son of the late Kilmore and Mary (Wolf) Bell, Sr. He worked for Hempt Brothers, Inc. of Camp Hill. Mr. Bell attended Parkville Church of the Living God. Mr. Bell leaves a son, Kevin E. Bell of Dover; a daughter, Tina L. (Bell) Sturm and her husband Chris of Harrisburg; a granddaughter, Eden F. Sturm; four brothers, William of Etters, John of Mechanicsburg, Larry of Aspers, and Ira "Sam" of York; a sister, Jean Zerbe of Dover, and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a sister, Jennie (Bell) Wilson, and a brother, Donald "Pete" Bell. Memorial contributions may be made to American Heart Association.
