Kevin David Grim, 72, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, October 29, 2026 at his residence. He was the loving husband of Daphne L. (Rutherford) Grim to whom he was married to for 34 years. The couple wed on April 25, 1992.
A Celebration of Life Tribute Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, November 6, 2026 at Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place, Red Lion, with Deacon Marsha Roscoe officiating the service. Prior to the service, a visitation will be held from 10-11:00 AM. Burial will be in Red Lion Cemetery.
Born August 1, 1954 in Red Lion, he was the son of the late David A. and Erma E. (Kinard) Grim. During his career he worked for the Hershey Company for 26 years until his retirement in 2015. He truly loved what he did. One of the highlights of his career was the same group of coworkers who gathered for lunch each day. The group became known as “The Table,” a daily tradition he truly enjoyed.
Outside of work, music was one of his passions and he was an avid fan of the Beatles. He enjoyed spending his free time taking care of box turtles, following the weather, and landscaping. He was also a loyal fan of the Orioles and the Flyers and faithfully endured their losing seasons every year.
In addition to his wife, Daphne, Kevin is survived by two daughters; Michelle Grim of Seneca, SC and Gretchen Grim of York; a son, Adam Grim of Salunga, PA; a grandson, Maxwell Snyder; a brother Eric A. Grim of Red Lion; a sister, Kendrah J. Darrah, as well as several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a sister, Lynette E. Grim.
