RED LION – Kathleen L. (Martins) Conley, 82, passed away Wednesday, March 4, 2026 at her residence. She was the wife of Howard J. “Jack” Conley to whom she was married for 63 years.
A Celebration of Life Tribute Service will be held 7:00 PM, Wednesday, March 11, 2026 at Olewiler and Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory Inc., 35 Gotham Pl., Red Lion, with Father Damon Tritle officiating. Viewings will be held from 2:00-4:00 PM and 5:00-7:00 PM at the funeral home. A private burial will take place at Gardens of Faith Memorial Gardens in Baltimore, MD at a later date.
Born May 3, 1943 in Baltimore, MD, she was the daughter of the late Thomas J. and Ada L. (Linzey) Martins. For most of her working life, she was a homemaker, tending to her house and children. Her greatest wish of all was being a mother.
Outside of her hard work, she was an avid Holly Hobbie and jewelry collector. Kathe was also very talented in different arts such as portraits, dancing, and singing. As a young woman she attended Maryland Institute of Art. Also in her younger years, she owned several parrots and grew to love to bird watching outdoors. Her family remembers her as a generous woman who would always lend a helping hand and someone who loved everyone around her.
In addition to her beloved husband, Jack, she is survived by three children, Kevin M. Conley and his wife Stephanie S. of Airville, Karen L. Shaulis and her husband Dennis R. of Oxford, and Sharon L. Conley and her significant other Rob D. South of Albion, Idaho; a bonus son, Marcos H. Torres and his wife Stacey of Red Lion; four grandchildren, Lauren A. Pironis and her husband Jack Lafferty, Sidney L. Houck and her husband Mark, Quinn A. Conley, and Sarah L. Shaulis and her fiancé Peter L. Orbach; and a great-granddaughter, Ivy L. Houck. She is preceded in death by her son, Brian K. “Keith” Conley and a grandson, Kyle J. McClure.
