Kathern L. (Jameson) Hafner

YORK - Kathern L. (Jameson) Hafner, 89, died Thursday, March 11, 2010 at Rest Haven Nursing home. She was the loving wife of the late Paul E. Hafner, Sr. Funeral services will be private at the request of the family. Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Road, York, is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Hafner was born June 3, 1920 in Harrisonburg, VA, a daughter of the late James Parson and Cledra F. (Simmons) Jameson. She enjoyed swimming at YWCA where she was a member, and playing bridge with her family and friends. Mrs. Hafner is survived by a son Paul E. Hafner, Jr. and wife Jean M., 3 grandchildren, Lewis C. Jr., Tracy L., and Steven S.; 2 great grandchildren; a sister Imagene I. Kelly; a son in law, Lewis C. Rudacille, Sr. and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Sandra L. Rudacille, and three sisters, Virginia, June, and Helen.
