Karlyn V. Houseman

YORK- Karlyn V. (Spangler) Houseman, 91, passed away Thursday, September 5, 2024 at Autumn House West in York.  She was the wife of the late Billie E. Houseman.  

A graveside service will be held at 11am on Thursday, September 12, 2024 at Prospect Hill Cemetery in York. The service will be webcast live and can be viewed by searching Karlyn's obituary at HeffnerCare.com Pastor Jason Northridge will be officiating at the service.  Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd. in York is in charge of the arrangements.

Mrs. Houseman was born in York on October 28, 1932, a daughter of the late Ralph and Lottie May (Spangler) Spangler.  She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Roundtown.  She and her husband had enjoyed traveling to Hawaii on numerous trips.

Mrs. Houseman is survived by her friends, Richelle Matson, Lily Matson, Louise Burn, and Kathy Reigart.  She was preceded in death by her two sisters, Sara Gingerich and Mary Oerman.  Send condolences at HeffnerCare.com
