Kalavati B. (Shukla) Pathak

YORK- Kalavati B. (Shukla) Pathak, 87, passed away on Saturday, December 24, 2022 at her residence. She was the wife of the late Bhaskar M. Pathak.

Born on June 29, 1935 in Sarsa, India, she was a daughter of the late Someshware and Jadaben Shukla. Kalavati was a teacher in India before migrating to the United States in 1977 where she worked as a seamstress and raised two families.

Kalavati is survived by two sons, Jayesh Pathak and his wife, Smita of York and Rajesh Pathak of York; four grandchildren, Vishad, Maithili, Nandish and Rudri; two great grandchildren, Jack and Maeve; and three brothers, Mahendra Shukla, Kumud Shukla and Chaitanya Shukla.
