June S. Green

WILKES-BARRE. June S. (McCloe) Green, 68, of Wilkes-Barre, passed away Tuesday morning at the home of her daughter in Lansdale. Born in Wilkes-Barre on September 29, 1941, she was the daughter of Melissa (Branch) McCloe of Wilkes-Barre, and the late Daniel McCloe. She was a member of the United Church of God, Bethlehem and was associated with Jehovah's Witness. She was formerly employed by Schiel's , Wilkes-Barre. She was preceded in death by her husband, the late Robert Lee Green, and a sister, Sharon Burgett. Surviving are her sons, Robert A. Green, Bumpus, VA; John C. Green, Millersburg; Michael C. Green, Hanover, VA; Justin S. Green, Wilkes-Barre; daughters Barbara L. Green, Plains; Brenda L. Green, Pittston; Rhonda Green, Lansdale; Heather M. Green, Niack, NY; 14 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; several brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at the Kniffen O'Malley Funeral Home, Inc. 465 South Main Street, Wilkes-Barre, to be followed by a private cremation. June's niece, Melissa Evans, will officiate. Friends may call Friday from 1 p.m. until the time of the service.
