June L. (Cunningham) Clinton, 95, of York, passed away Monday, June 22, 2026 at York South Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was the wife of the late Arthur J. Clinton, Sr. to whom she was married for 59 years before his passing in 2008.
A Celebration of Life Tribute Service will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, July 1, 2026 at Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place, Red Lion with Pastor Dave Dusthimer officiating. A viewing will be held from 5 – 7:00PM Tuesday, June 30, 2026 and 10 – 11:00 AM on July 1, 2026 at the Funeral Home. Mrs. Clinton’s Tribute Service will be webcast on her obituary page at www.HeffnerCare.com.
Mrs. Clinton was born on June 12, 1931 in Springettsbury, a daughter of the late Spurgeon and Estella (Reever) Cunningham. June was a member of Longstown United Methodist Church. She was a dedicated homemaker, who enjoyed reading, sewing, baking, and canning; she and her husband were especially known for their sauerkraut. June also enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and visits with her many grandchildren. She enjoyed spending time at her family's river side Bungalow, and going for walks.
Mrs. Clinton is survived by three sons, Arthur J. Clinton, Jr. and wife Melody of Dover, Stanley R. Clinton and wife Debbie, of Allentown, and Roy F. Clinton and wife Jane, of Red Lion; two daughters, Julie A. Lucia and husband Mark, of Wrightsville, and Carol L. McCleary and husband Greg, of Red Lion; five brothers, James, Blaine, Barry, Alan (Butch), and Mark Cunningham; three sisters, Alma Klahold, Phyllis Dellinger, and Darlene Evans; 19 grandchildren, 38 great grandchildren, 12 great great grandchildren and two on the way. She is preceded in death by a son, Gregory S. Clinton; a daughter, Kathleen L. Rhoads; six brothers, Preston, Spurgeon, Clarence, Dennis, Kenneth, and Robert; and five sisters, Gladys, Patsy, Mary Lou, Judith, and Linda.
