Julia L. (Harmon) Lynch

YORK- Julia L. “Julie” (Harmon) Lynch, 75, died on Wednesday, October 15, 2025.

Born on April 2, 1950 in Hagerstown, MD, she was the daughter of the late John D. Harmon and Vivian Osbourn Myers. While Julia was in the workforce for almost 30 years, her most rewarding role was that of caretaker to her children and grandchildren.

Mrs. Lynch was a member of St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Hagerstown, MD and Yorkshire UMC in York PA. Julie had a witty, dry sense of humor who enjoyed reading, good food, good stories, and was an avid bird lover. Her family was most important to her.

Along with her husband, Samuel J. Lynch. Jr., Julie is survived by her daughter, Samantha and her husband, Andy Dualan of Linden, NC; son, Christopher Lynch and his wife, Anna of Reisterstown, MD; four grandchildren: Isabella, Samuel, Hannah, and Olivia; a grand-cat and many grand-dogs.

Services and burial are private at the convenience of the family. Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd., York is in charge of arrangements.
