Joyce Elaine (Mitchell) Klinedinst

YORK, Joyce Elaine (Mitchell) Klinedinst, 83, passed away peacefully Friday, October 6 in her beloved home.

Born August 30, 1940, in Baltimore, Maryland, to the late George and Kathryn (Meekins) Mitchell. Joyce is preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Allan Verne Klinedinst and survived by her children Richard, his wife Rebecca Klinedinst, Thomas Klinedinst, and Susan (Klinedinst), her husband William Chersky; five grandchildren, Jessica, Nicole, Kerri, James, and Dylan; her brothers, Raymond, and Richard Mitchell.

Joyce, a friend to many, a talented artist, decorator, Vice President of Retail Sales with Olde Country Reproductions, Pewtarex until her retirement and a member of the Garden Club of York and St. Mathews Evangelical Lutheran Church will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved her.

A celebration of life service and luncheon will be held on Saturday, October 28 at 11:00 AM at St. Matthew Evangelical Lutheran Church, 839 W. Market St., York. Family and friends are welcome for a visitation beginning at 10:00 AM. Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd., York is assisting with arrangements.
