Joyce A. (Schoffstall) Frey

YORK – Joyce A. (Schoffstall) Frey, 89, passed away on Thursday, June 27, 2024 at her home with her family by her side. Joyce was the beloved wife of Gary E. Frey to whom she was married for 65 years.

All services will be private at the convenience of the family. Heffner Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc. is in charge of arrangements.

Born June 9, 1935 in Lebanon, PA, Joyce was a daughter of the late Karl and Kathryn A. (Maulfair) Schoffstall. Joyce served a very important roll, as a stay-at-home mother, and later on she worked part time at Bon Ton. In her free time, she loved playing cards in their card club, and roller skating.

In addition to her husband, Joyce leaves behind a son, Bart Frey; a daughter, Shelby Snyder; a granddaughter, Amy and her husband Charles; and two great grandsons.
