Jon H. Ladd

DOVER – Jon H. Ladd, 83, passed away Tuesday, January 20, 2026 at his residence. He was the husband of Corinne L. DeLone-Ladd to whom he was married for 23 years.

Born May 16, 1942, in Rockland, Maine, he was a son of the late Douglas R. and Mildred F. (Shannon) Ladd. He proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War, where he was wounded in combat and awarded the Purple Heart for his bravery and sacrifice.

In addition to his wife, Corinne, Jon is survived by two siblings, Steven T. Ladd and Kathryn A. Wilcox, as well as his nieces and nephews, Anissa, Michael, James, and Katrina. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Ruth Ann Jackson.

In accordance with Jon’s wishes, there will be no funeral services. A private burial at Arlington National Cemetery will be held at a later date. Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Road, York, is assisting the family with arrangements.
