John C. Newhouse

YORK—John C. Newhouse, 83, passed away April 4, 2022 at Rest Haven Rehab and Nursing. He was the husband of Joanna R. (Stroll) Newhouse to whom he was married for 35 years. Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd, York is in charge of arrangements. Born January 23, 1939 in Norristown, he was a son of the late Edward and Vada (Gibby) Newhouse. He was employed with Global Stone-Penroc as a laborer for many years until his retirement. John is survived by one brother, Joseph R. Newhouse of York and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by six siblings, Robert Newhouse, David Newhouse, Norman “Cecil” Newhouse, Margaret Luckenbaugh, Doris Cole and Joan Hoskin.
