John B. Emenheiser, Jr.

RED LION – John B. Emenheiser, Jr., 85, passed away on Wednesday, January 10, 2024 at York South Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. He was the husband of Jane (Olp) Emenheiser.


Born November 18, 1938, in Dallastown, Mr. Emenheiser was the son of the late John B. Emenheiser, Sr. and Amanda Shuler Emenheiser. After graduating high school, Mr. Emenheiser joined the US Army and served our country from 1961 – 1963. Mr. Emenheiser spent his entire career as a professional truck driver for Sun Oil Co. and McCrory Stores - where he drove until retirement. Post retirement, he drove part time for Forry Trucking.


He was an avid Winross truck collector and enjoyed model trains. He also took great pleasure in spending time with his children and grandchildren.


In addition to his wife, Mr. Emenheiser is survived by a son, Bradley Emenheiser and his wife Teresa; a daughter, Lynette Fisher and her husband Troy; four grandchildren, Matthew Fisher and his wife Morgan, Mitchell Fisher and his financee Christine, Elliott Emenheiser, and Emerson Emenheiser; and one great grandson, Colsen Fisher. Mr. Emenheiser is preceded in death by a son, Todd Michael Emenheiser.


Interment will be at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
