Joanne Rodriguez

POTTSVILLE - Joanne Rodriguez, 48, of Pottsville, formerly of Mahanoy City, died Wednesday at her home. Born in Allentown on November 19, 1962, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Florence Venzlauskas Rodriguez. She was a 1980 graduate of Mahanoy Area High School. She worked part time for Turning Point, Pottsville. She was a member of St. Patricks Church, Pottsville. Surviving Joanne are: a sister, Ann and her husband Mohammad Aslam; a brother, Joseph Rodriguez; her companion Joseph Rodick; aunts, uncles, and cousins. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday morning at 10 AM from the Church of Saint Patrick, 4th & Mahantongo St., Pottsville. Family and friends may call from 6 8 PM Sunday evening at the Schlitzer Allen Pugh Funeral Home, Inc., 6th & W. Market St., Pottsville, and Monday morning from 8:30 until 9:30 AM at the funeral home. Interment will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Mahanoy City.
