Joanna L. (Mann) Saylor

RED LION- Joanna L. (Mann) Saylor, 56, died on Monday, September 30, 2024 at Penn State Hershey Medical Center. She was the wife of Dale E. Saylor. The couple wed on September 5, 1998.

A celebration of life memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. on Monday, October 7, 2024 at Pleasant View Church, 10384 Winterstown Rd., Red Lion with Pastor Jay McWilliams officiating. Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Pl., Red Lion is in charge of arrangements.

Born on July 25, 1968 in York, she was the daughter of Phyllis (Ream) Hoke of York and the late James Mann.

Mrs. Saylor loved traveling, especially to the beach, music, gardening, baking, cooking and finding new places to eat. She also loved animals including her golden retrievers, her chickens and taking care of the animals on the small family farm. Most importantly, she enjoyed spending time with her family.

Along with her husband, Dale, Joanna is survived by her son, Jacob Saylor of Red Lion; and two daughters, Jessica Wilson and her husband, Joshua of New Park and Anna Saylor of Reisterstown, MD.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Meredith A. Cowden Foundation at www.cowdenfoundation.org who raises funding for GVHD research.
