Joan K. (Rishar) Murray

DOVER - Joan K. (Rishar) Murray, 67, passed away Sunday, December 27, 2009 at Manor Care Dallastown. She was the wife of Lester E. Murray to whom she was married for 51 years. Funeral services and burial will be private. Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Road, York is in charge of arrangements. Born November 6, 1942 in Aristes, Columbia Co., she was a manager of the Rt. 30 McDonalds for 10 years. She had also worked as an RN for Visiting Nurses Assoc. Mrs. Murray loved cooking and sewing. In addition to her husband, Mrs. Murray is survived by a son, Douglas M. and wife Veronica Murray of Dover; a daughter, Patricia and husband Mark Landis of Dover; and eight grandchildren.
