YORK – Jeffrey A. Young, 50, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, May 31, 2011 at his residence. A celebration of life tribute service will be held at 1:30 PM Monday, June 6, 2011 at Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Road, York. A viewing will be held from 12:30-1:30 PM Monday at the Funeral Chapel. Burial will be in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens. Born March 18, 1961 in York a son of Charles L. Young, Jr. and Shirley E. (Dorsey) Young of York, he was a 1979 graduate of York Vo-Tech. Jeff had worked for Frito-Lay Inc. in York. He enjoyed going fishing and hiking. In addition to his parents, Jeff is survived by a sister, Christa L. Tillinghast of Dallastown; a brother, Bruce A. and wife Tina Young of Red Lion; nieces and nephews; an uncle, Gerald A. Young of Dover; and an aunt, Louise Dorsey of York. He was preceded in death by a brother, Michael Dorsey.
