Watch Video Tribute LEWISBERRY - Jean M. (Bishop) Hughes, 79, passed away Thursday, October 1, 2009 at Holy Spirit Hospital in Camp Hill. She was the wife of the late Spurgeon G. "Pud" Hughes. A celebration of life tribute service will be held at 12:00 Noon Tuesday, October 6, 2009 at Beaver Urich Funeral Home, Inc., 305 West Front Street, Lewisberry with Rev. K. David Haring officiating. A viewing will be held from 11-12:00 Noon on Tuesday at the Funeral Home. Burial will be in Emanuel Cemetery. Born April 25, 1930 in Lower Allen Twp., a daughter of the late Clyde and Lottie (Snavely) Bishop, she was a homemaker and enjoyed dealing in vintage glassware at antique shows and had a stand at Silver Springs Flea Market for 18 years. She loved going to auctions and sales. Mrs. Hughes is survived by a daughter, Cheryl A. Seiler of Shippensburg; two sons, Spurgeon "Butch" Hughes and companion JoAnn Mroczka of New Cumberland and Mark B. and wife Cathy Hughes of Lewisberry; three granddaughters, Laura, Carly, and Cristy; three grandsons, Peter, Jonathan, and Jordan; three great grandchildren, Laney, Lillian, and Jake. She will be missed greatly by family and friends.
