Janet L. Powers

Janet L. Powers, 68, of Seven Valleys; passed away Monday, June 16, 2025, at her home.

Born July 26, 1956, in Baltimore, Maryland; a daughter of the late Grant and Blanche (Hiebler) Powers, she was a 1973 graduate from Loch Raven High School. Janet was a certified Ophthalmic Technician at Wilmer Eye Institute. She loved to ride her horses, particularly with her favorite horse “Bourbon”.

Ms. Powers is survived by her two sons, Christopher Erdman of Stewartstown and Ryan Erdman of Seven Valleys; her daughter, Jessica and husband Devan Feathers, of Parkville, MD; two grandchildren, Colton and Lyla Feathers; two brothers Allen Powers of Maryland and Robert Powers of Delaware; four nieces Kerri Arbuthnot Ramprill, Dawn Cook, Katie Davella, and Kelly Powers; two nephews, David Powers and John Powers, Jr.; and her brother-in-law, Samuel Arbuthnot. She was preceded in death by a brother, John Powers; and a sister, Sharon Arbuthnot.

Tribute services will be private. Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd, York is in charge of arrangements.
