Janet M. (Kaye) Smith

HELLAM- Janet M. (Kaye) Smith, entered into rest August 12, 2016 at Susquehanna Valley Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was the grandaughter of Robert and Lillian Haar; daughter of Sara (Haar) Kaye; mother of Kevin Todd Smith, and wife of Robert E. Smith, to whom she was married 63 years. Janet was born in the home where she still lived, attended a one-room school at Kreutz Creek, and was a graduate of Hellam High School. Services will be strictly private at the convenience of the family at Kreutz Creek Cemetery on a family plot. Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Road, York, is in charge of arrangements.
