Janet L. (Hebbe) Rebert

YORK - Janet L. (Hebbe) Rebert, 99, passed away on Tuesday May 11, 2021 at her residence. Janet was the wife of the late John C. Rebert Jr. Services for Janet will be private at the convenience of the family. Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory Inc. is in charge of arrangements. Born in Eden on March 5, 1922, Janet was the daughter of the late G.A. and Augusta (Ryan) Hebbe. She was a 1940 graduate of West York High school. Janet was a member of the Advent Lutheran Church – York for many years where she served as President of the council and chairman of various committees. She obtained her teaching degree at West Chester University. Mrs. Rebert taught for 30 years at York Suburban School District until her retirement in 1973.
