Red Lion—Janet L. (Becker) Danley, 92, passed away Friday, January 09, 2025 at her residence in Windsor Township with her loving family by her side. She was the wife of the late Luther S. Danley Jr., to whom she was married for 62 years.

Born September 27, 1933 in York, she was the daughter of the late William H. Becker Sr., and Vivian E. (Fetrow) Becker

In addition to being a loving and dedicated homemaker, she was the backbone of the family always there supporting her husband in his many business endeavors, including co-owning the Lion’s Den Restaurant & Lounge with him from 1975 – 2005.

She loved spending time at their place in St. Pete Beach, FL.

Mrs. Danley is survived by her two daughters, Kathy E. Holes and her partner, Edward of Red Lion and Stephanie L. Eismann and her husband, Robert of Nottingham; one son, Craig W. Danley and his wife, Toni of Windsor; two grandchildren, Ryan M. Holes of York and Heather M. Sterner and her husband, Chris of York; three great grandchildren, Abby, Lizzy and Nikki; daughter-in-law, Holly L. Danley of Red Lion; bonus son, William Kell II of Red Lion and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by one son, Stephen L. Danley, two brothers, William H. and Donald W. Becker and her beloved cat, Baby Girl.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family. Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place, Red Lion is in charge of arrangements.

During her journey with vascular dementia, her family always reminded her, “they will remember for her”
