Jane E. Snyder

YORK – Jane E. Snyder entered eternal rest on Thursday, February 23, 2023 at the age of 86. She was predeceased by her husband John E. Snyder, Jr.

Born February 25, 1936, a daughter of the late Lloyd E. and Mildred V. (Burke) Stough, she was a 1954 graduate of William Penn Senior High School. Jane retired from the former Motter Printing Press Co. and in retirement, continued to work at Bon-Ton corporate offices. She was a former member of Bethlehem Stonepile United Methodist Church and loved nothing more than spending time with her family.

Jane is survived by her four children, Bradley E. Snyder of Gastonia, N.C., Brian E. and wife Beverly Snyder of Las Vegas, NV, Karen L. Snyder and her significant other, Terry Knisely of Red Lion, and Eileen S. Snyder of York; and four grandchildren, Blake, Brandon, Breanna, and Brent Snyder. She was preceded in death by three siblings, Lloyd E. Stough, Jr., Philip J. Stough and Nancy A. Miller.

A Celebration of Life Tribute Service will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, March 1, 2023 at Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place, Red Lion. A visitation will be held from 1-2:00 PM Wednesday at the Funeral Home. Private burial will be in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, Jane and family would wish donations be made to an animal shelter of choice due to the undying love of her deceased cat, Toby.
