James William Scott

TUNKHANNOCK- James William Scott, 77, of Tunkhannock, passed away Sunday, June 27, 2010, at Mercy Tyler Hospital after a lengthy illness. Born on January 10, 1933, he was a son of the late Henry and Mildred (Shepherd) Scott. In addition to his parents, James was preceded in death by sister, Edith Ranta; and brother, Henry Scott. Surviving are his sisters, Mildred Lucille Ryder and husband Bill, Fairfield, PA; and Emma Alice Berkel and husband George, Reading, PA; sister-in-law Mary Scott, Gouldsboro, PA; and numerous nieces and nephews. Services will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are being handled by Kniffen O'Malley Funeral Home, Inc., Wilkes-Barre.
