James Nelson Wood

YOE - James Nelson Wood, 69, passed away on Friday June 23, 2023 at WellSpan York Hospital.

Born August 26, 1953 in Kingston, NY, he was a son of the late John and Edith (Williams) Wood. After graduating high school, Mr. Wood worked for a few different companies before he retired from Reynolds and Reynolds as a plant manager. In his free time, Mr. Wood enjoyed golfing, fishing, along with playing and coaching softball.

Mr. Wood is survived by three sons, James Wood, Joseph Wood, and Nehemiah Wood; three daughters, Sarah Heller, Heather Miller, and Hailey Wood; three step children, Amanda Fregm, Dustin Fregm, and Timothy Leiphart; eight grandchildren, a sister, Mary Jean Wood; and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by a brother, John Wood.

All services will be private at the convenience of the family.
