On Sunday, October 19, 2025, James “Jim” Mark Williams joined an out-of-this-world super group including his idols Jeff Beck, George Harrison, and Roy Orbison.
They will be performing live on Jim’s 71st birthday, October 24, 2025, for a sold-out show, including his parents Joseph C. and Patricia (Goshen) Williams, at the largest venue in the universe, the Infinity Stadium in the sky.
Jim was an exceptional Architect, skilled musician who played in The Revelators classic rock band, and loving husband and father. His passions included cars, antiquing, collecting, design, guitars, traveling, reading, eating, drinking, and talking anyone’s ear off about these subjects. His younger years, probably before his 1972 graduation from West York Area High School and definitely while earning his Fine Arts degree from York College of Pennsylvania, included wrecking cars, causing havoc and general debauchery. He married his devoted wife, Hope (Heisler) in August 1980. They had many, but not enough, years together doing what they loved – shopping, dining out, going on trips to explore new and old places, being with friends and family, and relaxing at the 1923 Spanish Colonial home they restored in York.
Jim is survived by his wife, Hope; daughter, Adrienne Williams and son-in-law, Bryan Price; brother, Jon Williams and family; cousin, Susan Becquet and family; and aunt, Anne Landress.
In lieu of flowers, put your phone down and enjoy the company of those you are with, appreciate the spaces and buildings around you, live in the moment, read a book, listen to music, restore a building, visit a museum, and live life to the fullest.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held in Adrienne and Bryan’s Hanover barn in the Spring. More details about the ceremony will be shared early next year.
