James Joseph Burns

PLYMOUTH-James Joseph Burns, 74, Plymouth, passed away Monday, July 2, 2007 in Geisinger South Wilkes-Barre. Born in Wappingers Falls, NY on February 7, 1933, he was the son of the late James Christopher and Margerite (Garrigan) Burns. He graduated from Farleigh Dickinson with a BA in business. He was an Army Veteran of the Korean Conflict. He was a member of the VFW. Prior to retiring, he was employed by Bright Star, Clifton, New Jersey, as a superintendent for 30 years He was preceded in death by his son, Kenneth and a sister, Marie Korber. Surviving is his wife, the former Margo Habeshian; sons, James M. (Catherine), Hewitt, NJ; Timothy P., Bloomingdale, NJ; Patrick "Pat", (Judith), Newton, NJ; Kevin B. (Nancy), Eden, NC; daughter Kim Klastow (Karl), Greenwood Lake, NY: 10 grandchildren. A memorial service will be held Saturday at 11:30 a.m. in St. Mary's Church, Wappingers Falls, New York.
