James J. Ettinger, Jr., 60, of York, passed away Saturday, April 25, 2026.
A Celebration of Life Tribute Service will be held at 10:00 AM Tuesday, May 5, 2026 at Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Road, York with Certified Celebrant Amy Favorito officiating. A viewing will be held from 9-10:00 AM Tuesday at the Funeral Chapel. Private burial will be in Suburban Memorial Gardens.
Jim was born on June 25, 1965 in York, a son of the late June M. (Smith) and James J. Ettinger, Sr. He was a 1984 graduate of York Vo-Tech. Jim had worked for various manufacturing companies throughout York. He enjoyed relaxing at home and playing video games.
Jim is survived by his brother, John H. Ettinger of York. He was preceded in death by a sister, Dawn M. Ettinger.
