Helen E. (Moran) Leisure

Helen E. (Moran) Leisure, 85, of Hanover, passed away Saturday, October 24, 2026 at York Hospital. She was the wife of Earl D. Leisure with whom she shared 25 years of marriage.

Mrs. Leisure was born on April 30, 1941 in Baltimore, MD; a daughter of the late Joseph and Estella (Heinze) Moran. Helen had worked for the telephone company, Maryland School for the Blind, and St. Ursula Catholic School. She loved spending time with her family, and enjoyed watching and shopping from QVC.

In addition to her husband, Mrs. Leisure is survived by three children, Deborah K. and husband Raymond Hierstetter of Nottingham, MD, Diana L. and husband Joseph Cassetta of Hanover, PA, and Robert B. Ford, Jr. and wife Amanda of Manchester, MD; eight grandchildren, Kristen Cassetta and Alexandra Cassetta, Robert B. Ford, III, Connor Ford, Shawn and wife Alicia Hierstetter, Raymond and wife Melissa Hierstetter, Christian and wife Brittany Hierstetter, Hannah and husband Scott Gunther; nine great grandchildren; and her American Akita great grandpuppy “Ramsey”, and grandcat "Bella". She was preceded in death by three brothers, Joseph, Walter, and Marion Moran.
