Helen Burns

YORK – Helen (Mosetti) Burns, 81, passed away Tuesday, January 31, 2023 at York Hospital. She was the wife of Allan H. Burns, whom she celebrated 59 years of marriage on May 18.

Born May 29, 1941, she was the daughter of the late John and Florence (Bentz) Mosetti.

She was a homemaker who had a passion of working with children. She provided child care in her home for many years.

In addition to her husband, Mrs. Burns is survived by her three children, Shelley Winters (John) of Red Lion, Michael Burns of Ellicott City, MD, and Christopher Burns of Essex, MD; three grandchildren, Valerie Marrero (Steve), Lauren Lerew (Aaron), and Nicholas Winters (Melanie); eight great grandchildren, Alexis, Cameron, Corey, Brandon, John, Paisley, Briella, and Lily; as well as a niece and nephews. Mrs. Burns is preceded in death by her stepmother, Mary Mosetti.

Services will be private.  Certified Celebrant Allison Duke will be officiating at the service.  Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place in Red Lion is assisting the family with the arrangements.
