Hazel J. (Loeffler) Drevenak

KINGSTON-Hazel J. (Loeffler) Drevenak, 83 of Kingston, passed away Friday, January 19, 2007 in Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center, Plains Township. Born in Wilkes-Barre on February 23, 1923, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Hazel (Hayden ) Loeffler. She attended G.A.R. High School and was a member of Albright United Methodist Church, Wilkes-Barre. Mrs. Drevenak was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Michael, who passed away on September 30, 2002, and a brother, Harry Loeffler. Surviving are her daughters, June Housenick and Marlene Drevenak, both of Kingston; grandsons, Thomas m. Housenick and Dr. Stephen A. Housenick; great-grandson, Jordan Thomas Vitkauskas; sisters Marie Loeffler and Nancy Sharpe; nieces and nephews. The funeral will be held Monday at 9:30 a.m. from the Kniffen O'Malley Funeral Home, Inc., 465 South Main Street, Wilkes-Barre with services at 10:00 a.m. at Albright United Methodist Church, Wilkes-Barre. The Reverend Patrice H. Goodwin will officiate. Interment will follow in Chapel Lawn Memorial Park, Dallas. Friends may call Sunday evening from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
