Haruyo M. Strayer

YORK—Haruyo M. “Debbie” (Matuba) Strayer, 91, passed away Wednesday, November 05, 2025 at Country Meadows – York West. She was the wife of the late Robert L. “Bob” Strayer.

A Celebration of Life Tribute will be held from 1:00 – 3:00PM, Wednesday, November 12, 2025 at Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd, York. Burial will be private in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens.

Born January 30, 1934 in Osaka, Japan, she was the daughter of the late Sadakichi Naya and Matsuno Matsuba.

She was employed with Dentsply for many years as a composite tooth inspector. A social person by nature, she loved traveling and visiting with friends.
