Gloria D. (Kinard) Reider

Windsor — Gloria D. (Kinard) Reider, 89, died February 26, 2015 at Manor Care Health Services-Dallastown. She was the wife of the late Llewellyn C. Reider. A Celebration of Life Service will be 10 AM, Tuesday March 3, 2015 at Life Tributes by Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place, Red Lion with the Rev. Tina M. Melusky officiating. A viewing will be held from 9-10 AM, Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will be held in Craley Cemetery. Born October 25, 1925 in Windsor, she was a daughter of the late William C. and Marian A. (Raub) Kinard. In addition to being a loving and dedicated homemaker for her husband and family, she also worked throughout the years at Reider’s Drive-In, Wiest’s Dept. Store and various sewing factories. She enjoyed cooking, baking and was a member of the Marine Corps League Ladies Auxiliary. Mrs. Reider is survived by two sons, Jeffrey L. Reider of Red Lion and Clay S. Reider and his wife, Kathy of Windsor; one daughter, Denise C. Kerr and her husband, Tom of Red Lion; three granddaughters, Krista Kiehner, Nicole Biser and husband, Aaron and Courtney Howell and husband, Mitch; one great granddaughter, Lili Kiehner and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by one brother, Jack Kinard. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Heartland Hospice, 3417 C-Concord Rd, York, Pa 17402.
