Glendora M. (Baughman) Shaffer

YORK - Glendora M. (Baughman) Shaffer, 86, died Monday, June 23, 2008 at York Hospital. She was the wife of the late Albert W. Shaffer, Sr. Funeral services will be private at the convenience of the family. Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Road, York is in charge of arrangements. Born October 12, 1921 in Hagerstown, MD a daughter of the late Mr. & Mrs. Charles Baughman, she devoted her life to her family and home. Mrs. Shaffer leaves behind three sons; Albert W. Shaffer, Jr. and wife Rita, Ronald E. Shaffer and wife Donna, and Gary L. Shaffer, Sr.; one daughter, Marie G. Mitzel; nine grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren all of York. She is preceded in death by a brother, and four sisters.
