George W. Feeser, Jr.

YORK – George W. Feeser, Jr., 68, passed away Thursday, August 30, 2012 at his home. He was the husband of the late Darla M. (Sipes) Feeser. A celebration of life tribute service will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, September 5, 2012 at Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Road, York. Burial will be private. Born February 23, 1944 in West York, a son of the late Helen (Axe) and George W. Feeser, Sr., he was a 1962 graduate of West York High School. Following his IBEW apprenticeship, Mr. Feeser worked as an electrician for IBEW for 30 years. He was a life member of Hawks Gunning Club and throughout his life was a member and volunteered for Boy Scouts of America. Mr. Feeser loved John Deere tractors and had been a foster parent for over 40 years. Mr. Feeser is survived by two sons, Ted E. Feeser, Sr. and wife Rebecca of West York and Chad A. Feeser of York; a daughter, Ellyn E. Swanson of York; two grandchildren, Ted E. Feeser, Jr. and Alexis Feeser; a sister, Shirley Metcalf of York; and numerous foster children and grandchildren.
