Gary Reed Kopp

DALLASTOWN- Gary Reed Kopp, 78, of York Township, passed away on March 12, 2023 at his residence.

A graveside service will be held at noon on April 14, 2023 at Susquehanna Memorial Gardens in York. Full military honors will be provided by York County Veterans Honor Guard. Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd. in York is assisting the family with the arrangements.

Mr. Kopp was born in York on December 21, 1944, the son of the late Frank Gerald and Margaret (Hamme) Kopp. He retired from Dentsply in York where he was a supervisor.

Mr. Kopp was a member of the Isaac Walton League, York County Parks and was an avid hiker. He was very charitable and enjoyed helping out a lot of organizations. He was a collector of Antique Kopp medicine bottles and products and enjoyed watching NASCAR. He served in the US Army in the Korean War.

Mr. Kopp leaves a daughter, Angela M. Rohrbaugh and her husband Robert of Dover; six grandchildren; two brothers, William and Frank Kopp, and a sister, Patricia Bosserman. He was preceded in death by a son, Dustin Kopp.
