Gary D. Sheldon

Pottsville- Gary D. Sheldon, 60, of Pottsville, passed away Sunday morning at his residence. Born in Allegan, Michigan on November 5, 1948, he was a son of the late Berle and Mildred Forsythe Sheldon. Gary most recently worked as a union carpenter. He was preceded in death by his two sisters, Dorothy Kreggar and Kathy Sutliff; his four brothers, Gene, Steven, Donald and Ivan Sheldon. Gary is survived by his wife of 23 years, Donna M. Seville Sheldon, of Pottsville; his two sons, Thomas S. Sheldon, of Kalamazoo, MI, and Jason V. Sheldon, of Pottsville; his daughter, Sarah J. Sheldon, of Pottsville; his grandson, Thomas Sheldon, of Kalamazoo, MI; his two brothers, Richard and David Sheldon, both of Michigan; his two sisters, Betty Woodstock and Barbara Kempthorne, both of Michigan, many nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be held at the convenience of the family. Schlitzer-Allen-Pugh Funeral Home, Inc., Pottsville is in charge of arrangements.
