YORK – Frederick L. Wallbillick, Jr., 64, passed away Saturday, November 12, 2011 at York Hospital. He was the loving husband of Charlene E. (Muth) Wallbillick. The couple was married 33 years on April 22 of this year. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 AM, Wednesday, November 16, 2011 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, 2935 Kingston Rd. in York, with Fr. Dennis Klemash, OFM. CAP. officiating. A visitation will be from 10-11 AM Wednesday before the mass. Burial will be private at the request of the family. Heffner Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Road, York is in charge of arrangements. Mr. Wallbillick was born September 24, 1947 in Baltimore, MD. He was a son of the late Frederick L. and Mary Eileen (Connolly) Wallbillick. He was a 1965 graduate of Archbishop Curley High School in Baltimore. He worked as a retail manager for various businesses until his retirement. Mr. Wallbillick was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Kingston Rd. Mr. Wallbillick was active in the Parkville Jaycees in Maryland. He loved golf and all of the Baltimore sports teams. He enjoyed attending auctions and going to yard sales, as well as working in his yard. He was always there to help others and share his humor with family and friends. Mr. Wallbillick’s family, friends and home were his life, and he especially enjoyed spending time with his beloved dog Snickers. Mr. Wallbillick proudly served our country in the US Navy during the Vietnam War. In addition to his wife, Mr. Wallbillick is survived by a son, Fred Andrew Wallbillick and wife Kellie of Red Lion; two sisters, Elaine Kujawa and husband Robert of Adelphi, MD and Mary Jane Murphy and husband Kevin of Kingwood, TX; two sisters-in-law Mary Connolly and husband Brian of Phoenixville and Margaret A. Grove of Baltimore; and numerous nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Archbishop Curley High School: 3701 Sinclair Lane, Baltimore, MD 21213-2079 or York County SPCA: 3159 Susquehanna Trail N, York, PA 17406.
