Frank E. Curry Sr.,

DOVER—Frank E. Curry, Sr., 87, passed away Saturday, October 25, 2025 at his residence in Dover Township. He was the husband of Jeanette L. (Gladfelter) Curry to whom he was married for 68 years.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held 5:00PM, Thursday, October 30, 2025 at Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd, York. Officiating the service will be Chaplain Robert Rohrbaugh and Connie R. Miller. A viewing will be held from 4:00 – 5:00PM, Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family. Mr. Curry’s Celebration of Life Service will be available to Livestream through the link below.

Born April 18, 1938 in Lewistown, Mifflin Co., the son of the late Walter V. and Helen J. (Goodman) Curry.

He was employed for several years as a laborer with D&D Distribution until his retirement in 2003. His previous employment was with Motor Freight Express and following retirement worked at Wisehaven Event Center.

An avid bowler for 60 plus years throughout York County, he was inducted into the York County Bowler’s Hall of Fame. He also played softball for over 25 years for several teams, including Motor Freight Express and Arena News and was a skilled fly fisherman.

In addition to his wife, Mr. Curry is also survived by one son, Frank E. Curry Jr., and his wife, Victoria of Brooksville, FL; two daughters, Darlene Lookingbill of Dover and Diane Swavely of Dover; eight grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren.
