Frances R. Morton

Frances (Rodgers) Morton, 96, of Dallastown, passed away Tuesday, June 9, 2026 at Misericordia Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. She was the wife of the late William H. Morton.

A Celebration of Life Tribute Service will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, June 25, 2026 at Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place, Red Lion with The Rev. Roger Mentzer officiating. A visitation will be held from 1-2:00 PM Thursday at the Funeral Home. Private burial will be in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens.

Mrs. Morton was born on August 19, 1929 at home in Abbottstown, Adams Co., a daughter of the late Leroy and Helen (Kemper) Rodgers. She had worked alongside her husband and family at Morton Graphics until her retirement. Frances was an avid golfer and member of the former Red Lion Country Club, as well as, being a member of the Order of Eastern Star. She enjoyed baking, reading, and most importantly spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Mrs. Morton is survived by a son, William L. and wife Ann Morton of York; a daughter, Lori A. Kauffman of York; two granddaughters, Kelsey N. and husband Mark Stephens and Katelyn N. and husband Cody Lauer; and three great grandchildren, Paige Stephens, Grayson Stephens, and Adelaide Lauer. She was preceded in death by a brother, Wilmer Rodgers; and a sister, Miriam Livelsberger.
