Florence E. (Selgrath) Pacenta

POTTSVILLE - Florence E. Pacenta, 97, of Pottsville, died Tuesday morning at Manor Care Health Services, Pottsville. Born in Mahanoy City on September 2, 1910, she was a daughter of the late John and Catherine (Nieder) Selgrath. She was married to the former Anthony Pacenta, who died March 17, 1979. She was a member of St. Patrick's Church, Pottsville. Surviving Florence are: a daughter, Patricia Pacenta, Pottsville; a son Dr. Anthony and his wife Valerie Pacenta; four grandchildren; three sisters, Mary King and Jacqueline Herrity, both of Mahanoy City and Anna Hoehne, of Shohola; nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by: a son, Peter, a sister Sara Crellin and a brother Vincent Selgrath. Funeral services will be private, held at the convenience of the family. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery. The Schlitzer Allen Pugh Funeral Home, Inc. 6th & W.
