Faye L. (Forry) Kitzmiller

WELLSVILLE- Faye L. (Forry) Kitzmiller, 83, passed away on Friday, September 1, 2023 at York Hospital. She was the wife of David W. Kitzmiller. The couple planned to celebrate their 65th wedding anniversary in December.

Born on December 12, 1939 at home in Warrington Twp., she was the daughter of the late Kenneth L. and Florence R. (Witmer) Forry. Faye was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, and will be terribly missed. Faye was the owner and operator of Forry’s Drive-In for 60 years.

Mrs. Kitzmiller was a member of New Bethel United Methodist Church. Faye enjoyed spending time with her family, miniature golfing with the great-grandchildren, gardening in her flower beds, feeding and admiring the many species of birds at her home, and an admirable cook.

Along with her husband, David, Faye is survived by her son, David and his wife, Cindy; daughter Kathy, daughter Debra and her husband, Tim; six grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; and brother, Terry and his wife, Elaine. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Edward and Dale.

A celebration of life tribute service will be held at 11:30 a.m., with visitation starting at 10:00 a.m., on September 16, 2023, at New Bethel United Methodist Church, 1495 Kunkle’s Mill Rd., Lewisberry, Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd., York is in charge of arrangements.
