Evelyn M. (Hoke) Baker

POTTSVILLE - Evelyn M. (Hoke) Baker, 88, formerly of St. Clair & Luther Ridge, died Sunday morning at the Pottsville Hospital. Born in St. Clair on March 4, 1919, she was the daughter of the late James and Lilly M. (Honiker) Hoke. She attended St. Clair Highschool. Until retiring, she was employed by Van Heusen as a trimmer. For 58 years, she was married to the late Francis J. Baker, who died Aug 7, 2001. Surviving Evelyn are: two daughters, Elaine and her husband Adam Ryndock, of Walworth, NY and Tricia Baker, of Schuylkill Haven; five grandsons and one great granddaughter. Interment will be private, held in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery. The Schlitzer Allen Pugh Funeral Home, Inc. 6th & W. Market St., Pottsville, is handling the arrangements.
